By using Tymbook you agree to these terms. They're written to be fair and readable.
Your account
You're responsible for your account and the accuracy of the booking information you publish. Keep your credentials safe. You must be at least 18 and use Tymbook for lawful business purposes.
The service
The Free plan is provided free of charge. Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tymbook to spam, defraud, or violate the rights of others. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put other customers at risk.
Deposits & payments
Studios on the Business plan can collect a deposit when a client books. Deposits are processed through your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect — the funds land directly in your balance and pay out on your Stripe schedule. Tymbook never holds or has access to your customers' money.
Tymbook charges a 1% platform fee on each deposit, collected automatically from the charge (not billed to your client). Stripe's own processing fees also apply and are paid from your Stripe account. When a deposit is refunded — automatically per your cancellation-window setting, or because you cancelled the booking — our 1% fee is returned to you along with the refund; we keep nothing on a cancelled booking. You are responsible for setting a clear deposit and cancellation policy for your own clients, and for any tax obligations on the payments you collect.
Liability
Tymbook is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
